I currently have a 1001 PSX with a dead laser, so I am wanting to replace it. Is there any model of PSX where I can just remove the laser and replace it in my 1001 PSX with no problems, or unusual methods at all? If not, is there a way to remove the lens from a laser assembly from one version of PSX and replace it with the lens in the laser assembly of a 1001 PSX?
Please tell me ASAP, I need to know this. Also, if I have to replace the lens, would someone please tell me a place on the web for instructions on this.
