just got it the other day but whenever i start downloading it starts off at a healthy 60-70 kbs but always drops down to nothing and eventually stops after an hour or so!

tried to phone pipex and got through after 20 mins only to be put on hold for 33 mins! they reckon they are getting bt to check the line but i am gonna see if i can cancell it cos its shite!!!!

Where are you downloading from? I have pipex broadband and sometimes on IRC it will start at 57kbs and steadily drop down to about 2kbs then work its way back up to 57 again, but when downloading from a website its constant all the way through.

tried downloading off mirc and it starts off at about 70 but always drops right down after 30 + mins and eventually stops.
outlook express wil not even work & i cant get pages to load.
i then have to dissconect & reconnect
there must be a problem with the line

sometimes it says there is no dial tone & i have to reboot

this is very frustrating!!!

I occasionally cant get Outlook Express to connect with my PIPEX connection and I also need to reboot my router occasionally BUT my d/l speeds are ALWAYS fast (57-62 kbs) and my Counter Strike ping is always lower than my cable chums (30 ms) !
