Recently I found a video (thanks to Moony1234) of the GCN playing a full size DVDR of Star Wars: Rogue Leader (With the top case off). The video looks decently legit, but I have my doubts.
Well this could be a great way to hack to GCN, with no external reader, I would much rather buy a different case, one that will hold full size discs, then just mod the system. It would also be a lot cheaper than getting an external reader.

It's been reported to be fake. Evidently the guy who made the tape even admitted it was fake. I had my doubts since he is shooting his own tape with people standing around him who could easily do it for him.

i though it may be. they should have made it like the xbox video, showing the system and tv at the same time.
plus they should have used a branded dvdr, it would be easier to tell if the disc really was spinning.

As several people have already noted, the guy who made the video admitted that it was a fake, so why is everyone still trying to determine if it is or not?
