I'm asking because, it's becoming bothersome to edit my php docs and upload them to my webserver to view and see if there's any parse errors or anything like that.

Would like to just double click a file and have windows parse it for me.

Will it work on ME or am I going to have to re-install 2k or xp and install iis, THEN php?

I recommend you download phpTriad from Download.com

I had loads of problems trying to get PHP files to run locally on my PC. I downloaded php, apache, etc seperately but couldn't get them to work. I then came across phpTriad and everything worked great.

I can even edit forum templates, etc offline now, which saves quite a bit of money and trouble!

Here's the direct link for phpTriad ::here (http://download.com.com/3000-2165-6474268.html?tag=lst-0-1)::
