help i keep getting errors in windows media player saying that it doesn't support the file type??
i am opening a vcd avesq01 file.
if i cange the disc for a different one it plays ??
could the cd be corrupt ??
i have noticed that it has 1 less folder on the cd than the othe cd.

anyone help???

You can try Drag n' Drop that file to Windows Media Player.... should work.. Normally avseq**.DAT is situated in MPEGAV folder on VCD.

depending on what type of VCD, e.g SVCD, VCD, XSVCD you will need different codecs.
