I am curious if anyone else has experienced the following problem:
I have a FIC AD11 motherboard with a Logitech cordless mouse and cordless keyboard.
Under my previous BIOS upgrade to ABA45 everything was working fine.
Then last week I upgraded to BIOS revision ABA46:
Ever since the upgrade, my mouse would only work after restarting the PC.
Every single time I shut down completely, the mouse wouldn't be found when turning the PC on (cold boot).
After a restart, however the mouse was always automatically found.
If during the bootup, DEL is pressed and I "restart" that way, the system also finds the mouse.
I went back to ABA45, and everything is fine now. :round:
I am just curious if anyone else has experienced this, or knows
why it is happening?
I also noticed that under ABA46, ESCD was (always)
updated at bootup, whereas under ABA45 ESCD isn't updated/listed as being update at bootup.
Thanks for any insights.
