This one seems more legit, either that or it's a very very good fake, as he shows all connection and controller hook up multiple times.

But if that was just a mini CD(Not mini DVD[if they even make those])then this game is very small(around 100-200mb because thats about how much those mini discs hold). What does everyone else think? Thanks for the video. 754boy May 19, 2002, 01:11 AM You can get mini-DVD's ....I have a few of them. The video looks like it could possibly legit. I sure hope it is. quangdvo May 19, 2002, 04:06 AM the either have a new way to compress the data or they ripped some stuff out, or even both. thirty3baboons May 19, 2002, 09:13 AM It's super monkey ball.....not exactly FMV heavy and datawise, shouldn't be too big...I could believe it was less than 180 meg (which is Mini CDR size). Kojima May 19, 2002, 01:35 PM Yeah SMB is probably a small game, but this shows the potential is there. I want to see a video booting up a copy of Resident Evil .. :) flipmo23 May 19, 2002, 04:56 PM 1.5GB Mini DVD's do exist. http://www.its-digitalmedia.com/flash/index2.html Brandono May 19, 2002, 07:14 PM Originally posted by flipmo23 1.5GB Mini DVD's do exist. http://www.its-digitalmedia.com/flash/index2.html Its not the how much a disc holds were having a problem with. Its the size of the cd. Those mini DVDs are 3", so if GameCube game are 3" then these might work. Brandono May 19, 2002, 07:18 PM The GC disc are 3" too. http://www.nintendo.com/systems/gcn/gcn_specs.jsp Kojima May 19, 2002, 11:16 PM OK stupid question, do standard DVD writers burn mini DVDs 754boy May 20, 2002, 01:21 AM Yes, my standard DVD writer burns mini DVDs just fine. Gandi May 20, 2002, 04:47 AM THEN HAVE TRIED 2 COPY A GAMECUBE GAME celtic_druid May 20, 2002, 05:04 AM You would need to be able to read it first. drowen May 20, 2002, 05:36 PM has anyone else noticed when he moves away after switching it on/off it skips. 754boy May 21, 2002, 12:15 AM That skipping is normal, I think. Anyways, my cube skips when I turn it on/off. Lunarfist May 23, 2002, 12:33 PM i hear that gamecube spins the gamedisc backwards to play. i think they need a way to install a ripper program to the harddrive of the gamecube (does it come with one?) and just rip iso's. 754boy May 25, 2002, 02:29 AM The disc in the gamecube spins the same way as any other disc does in any other machine. |
