I've been downloading movies off line but when I try to convert them over so I cam put them on cd, Nero freezes so what other program can I use to convert them?!:mad:

Use tmpgenc to convert to mpeg vcd standard. Then use nero to burn them to vcd.

I tried to convert with tmpeg but it said it was unsupported so what do I do now?!

I'm having the same problem converting AVIs to Mpegs. It tells me its unsupported. Thanks Cool C for bringing this up. I'll keep an eye on this post to see if anyone can help us. I'm a newbie so, I'll just sit back and watch.

the codec of the AVI probably isn't supported by tmpeg. try using avi2vcd, it is slower but accepts a wider range of codecs.
