Ok Ok some of you might have heard this before but here it goes...

I recently tryed to use my Utopia Boot Disk, I put it in, booted the DC, and everything was fine...
that is until I opened the Dreamcast because the CD was STILL SPINNING.

I just figured out that every game keeps spinning even when I open the top of my dreamcast now? I have never ever had this problem before? I have always swapped fine and play my NES emulator swap fine. But now, IT WONT STOP SPINNING! :mad:

There is a small button on the dreamcast which tells the system if the lid is open or not. When the lid is closed it holds the button down and the system knows that the lid is closed. When the lid is open the button is up and the dreamcast registers it as being open.
It sounds like your dreamcast doesn't know that the lid has been opened. Check that the button is not stuck down as that would cause the disc to continue spinning even if the lid was open because the DC isnt registering that you opened the lid.

That was the problem. I had to actually open the DC but that doesn't matter i fixed it thanks to you. :round: :tup:
