I'm having trouble backing-up my SIMS "on holiday" expansion pack (p.c.). The reading took 90 mins and has only read 2%,. I've tried using CloneCD, Nero and CDRWin with no luck.. Can someone please help...am I doing something wrong.?

Make sure that you have Fast Error Skip enabled, also you way want to upgrade your firmware.

Anyway, I'm moving this to the VGB forum.

This game is either protected by Safedisc 1 or 2. Those failed sectors are supposed to be their because of the protection. Like celtic_druid said, put Fast Error Skip on. If it is SD2 then you have to either use Amplify weak sectors or BetaBlocker.

No need to use Amplify weak sectors or BetaBlocker, as your drive(Liteon 24102B) supports copying SD2.
