Does anyone know if there is anything special that has to be done to the logitech wireless keyboards (iTouch and Cordless Freedom Optical; specifically) to make it so that the number lock is automatically turned on when the computer boots up. i have the latest version of the BIOS available, and checked several times to make sure that it was set to turn on, and it has still not worked.

And pyro47, you can create a shortcut to lock the computer. I put this shortcut as a button on the quick launch bar for easy access.

It works on my computer running XP, but not really sure about 2k.

Just create a shortcut and the target is: %windir%\system32\rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation

orson88, the suggestion you gave me about locking the computer with that short cut helped, thanks!
