Hey all,

I have very limited CD-R's left, and do not want to waste them.

I wanna copy the game (for Personal purposes ;) )

What should I use, I have Nero 5.5, but I heard CD-Cloner is good too.

Which is better? And does Operation Flashpoint work after burning it, because I hear it's hard to burn it since it has that FADE Protector that will not recognize cd or something like that if it's a copied version.

Is this true?

Tell me all details people :D

Thanks alot all,

LATERZ DohDoh :)

I burnt it fine with Clone CD. It is protected with SD2. Just treat it like any other SD2 game and make a 1:1 copy.. That F.A.D.E stuff only kicks in when using cracks, etc. that's if it does at all.

Hey,

I do not have cd clone, can I download the demo and will burn fine?

What is SD-2???

Is doing this on cd clone easier than Nero.

I would really appreciate to know this. :D

Thanks,

SD2 is SafeDisc2. Don't know if Clone CD is easier than Nero, but Nero can't create working 1:1 copies of SD2 CD's.

Version 4.xx of Clone CD is much easier to use than v 3.xx if you don't know what you are doing. Should be as simple as reading and writing, Clone CD will auto turn on FES for reading and AWS for writing, so you should get a working copy. However copying SD2 is somewhat dependant on your hardware.

Demo works fine, you can also use BlindWrite and CD Mate.

Hey Celtic,

I have couple CD-R's left and do not want to waste them at all until I am sure.

Can I burn them into a CD-RW and test it if the burning copied my game?

Or you can't copy games to cd-rw. Because so I could erase it when I am done.

Thanks bud  ,

Yes, you can copy it to a CDRW. You can even use Clone CD to erase it.
