i downloaded the newer version and tried it but it doesn't seem to record for me. i get to the writing leadin track for like 10 minutes and after that i get an error saying "sending cue to writer fail." i'm running on xp with the a04. i went back with the older version and still the same problem. what's wrong with it?

Maybe there's nothing at all wrong with Clone.

Check back at www.elby.org/ to see if your drive is on the supported drives list. This drive is very new after all.
