HELP ME PLEASE ITS DRIVING ME INSANE.

Sometimes my DVD-r backups take an age to load. And when I say an age I mean 10mins or so. It is very intermitent though and I have no solution why it is doing it. Is it something to do with my laser, should I buy a new one or is it something else. I have a Neo 4.1 chip and a Pal PS2. I boot using the Devil May Cry DVD. If I wanted the latest neo chip is it a case of just swapping them around or sdo I have to get the soldering iron out????

clean your laser ..

How do I clean my laser as I heard them disk cleaners are not very good.

get a dvd cleaner or take it 2 radio shack they will clean it there
