YOO guys, just straight to the question
how big is the TOC for the game??
and is there an extra ending in the PAL version game??
or is it only in FFX international ??
If in PAL version has the extra ending, in which disc is the extra ending? DISC 1 or DiSc 2??

I got a playable demo of ffx with final fantasy VI for the psx. It was really bad, all squashed up with mega borders an stuff.:(
is the full pal release going to be as bad?

if it is tru that it wont be full screen then all i can say is that Squaresoft are idiots and porbably deserve to go bankrupt if they dont give a damn about the European and Australian markets.

i already have the game and used it on my NTSC compatible TV and it looked fine. Of course it was unlikely it would look as good in PAL format but nothing significant.

i would have bought this game but if the graphics are a lot worse then i think i mght just pass.

Squaresoft are the most successful gaming company actually npras42, thats why the ff series are the biggest selling games, if everyone in the uk would get a 60hz suppoorted tv, then we wouldnt have to worry!!!

It doesn't affect me to much, I have a portable TV that when you play 60Hz games some of the picture is missing! Anyway most modern 50/60Hz tv's have a zoom button anyway, press that, no more borders! Same frame rate though :(

I'm afraid sony and its developers are a bunch of lazy w@nkers cos nearly everyone in uk can play 60Hz games but they cant be bothered to support it

Dreamcast = 60Hz support (first UK console to do this well done SAGA)
PS2 = Cant be bothered, up your europe!
Gamecube = 60Hz Asks u when u switch it on (do u want 60 Hz)
XBOX = 60Hz built in hardware selectable in menu and stays on !!

Thats why I got a uk xbox, uk gamecube and uk dreamcast and my Jap PS2
Conclusion everyone else it tryin hard except sony to bring full screen entertainment at full speed.

One good thing burnout has 60Hz selectable on the PS2 shame it looks so w@nk compaired to the gamecube ver!

yeah, it is very true that every1 should have 60Hz tvs but if they cant afford it....

and although i havent gona and checked up my info recently squaresoft are making huge losses everytime they release their figures at the end of the fiscal year. they are in serious debt and i remember they were quite close to bankruptcy a couple of months after the film came out but sony saved them by buying out a major share of the company. this is why sony got even more pissed off when they decided to start making games for the NGC and GBA.

they were not close to bancruptcy, the loses reported were only on the film. thats why the president resigned because its was the first major los the company had in a number of years.

squaresoft are pretty stable financially, mainly because the likes of sony cant afford for them not to be producing games for their system.

None of you have any idea why Square didn't make it 60hz. It wasn't laziness. They WANTED it to be 60hz, but they said that if they did make it 60hz, every CG cutscene would have to be put onto the disc in 50 and 60Hz, for those that didn't have 60Hz TV's, and this wasn't posssible because the DVD was already full to the brim (if DVD's had brims), and there just wasn't any space left on the DVD. Just an explanation so you all don't go ripping into them some more.

I wouldn't have minded 50Hz movies and 60Hz gameplay.
