i have a set of folders that i want to copy to another location, about 100-150 folders. each folder has 1 or 2 subfolders, i want to retain them also. i don't want to copy the 4000-5000 files though. any ideas?

Hi acc1,

Possibly a mirroring software client like FolderClone from www.folderclone may do the trick as it has the option to select the files or folders you want to mirror.

i don't think that is what i'm looking for. i can do what it offers with windows backup can't i? it does say "Option to include "All Files and Folders" or "Only Selected Files and Folders"" but i'm pretty sure that since it's a syncro. program, it's gonna be looking to copy files. but, i'll take a look. thanks.
