Ok... I had a powerpoint file on a floppy disk. I could open it.. and then suddenly when i closed it and tried to open it again.. it said that "cannot open -file- because part of the file is missing. is there any way to get it to open if that happens? or is it impossible? thanks in advance.

did you try to scandisk your floppy?

sounds like your file is corrupt.....
