I installed MS agent as required by a text to speech program i installed. The prog sucked so it's history, but i believe agent, which cannot be uninstalled according to the site i got the prog from, caused a problem with my sound. When i play sounds theres a static that follows the sound. It's only there following a sound, not when theres silence. Sorta like a bad radio station static. I tried finding the files associated with agent and deleting them, but that did no good so i restored them from recycle bin just in case that might cause more problems.

Any ideas short of reinstalling my sound card, which is a real pain with this creative card?
