OK, so now both chips have been released which is best for my xbox xtender, or enigma. As I understand neither 1st release has macro disabled and is dvd region free.... is this correct? If not, I think I will wait for the 2nd release in a few weeks.... Am I wrong? Help me?!

At the moment every1 seems to favour the Enigmah, god knows why!

As far as I can see they are both very similar, I will be getting extenders in with macro off on Tues, these are V1.1, I understand that these can be re programmed via disc, with new code on it. As for the enigmah noboby has confirmed that it is reprogrammable and if so how it is done.

Also I have been told that the Enigmah will not be available for another 2 weeks, telecon this morning with supplier. I suspect that the Enigmah is further away than we have been led to believe, but guess only time will tell.

Same with PS2 chips, loads of hype followed by loads of delays. Release dates are not to be taken seriously.

The xtender is flash upgradable, is the enigmah? Does this mean future games will not work with the enigmah? Whereas they will with the xtender?

enigmah also should come with a way to turn it off.

it looks like the messiah-x is now shipping this week as well. possibly even much cheaper than enigmah or xtender :)

I also read that there is a newer version of the enigmah due out this monday (27th). I think I will definitely wait for that baby!

I prerdered my Enigmah from Precision Mods... they are saying they will begin receiving them the week of the 27th... so, does this mean I may get one of the updated enigmah's?

BTW, I am in the states, as is Precision Mods

hi Enigmah modchip was at bowlers today the finish product
but they only had the chip not the board
but next saturday they will have the board
i was thinking of buying one today but thought i will wait until next week
as it be a lot easyer to install
at the moment people like the enigmah then any other chip
so i would go for this one
its a shame that dvd region free mode u got to have both dvd dogglers
region 1 and 2 then it works
which suck for sure
get your chip next week £45 good price i think and i think they will go
up in price very very sooon

some games work fine on cdrw
burnout,crash2,doa3,etc all work fine
but are no good on normal cds
as the xbox can not read them
