I am thinking of changing to the liteon 24x, the only thing that worries me is psx backups.
On my current writer a plex 24x, I have to burn psx backups at 1x otherwise they sometimes dont work,the liteon has a min burn speed of 8x?? so will backups burned at 8x work,anyone any comments on this one??

the liteon 24x will backup psx games ok.i have had no trouble although i have not backed up that many.with the latest clone cd you should have no problems at 8x.its only downfall is the audio protected cds,i see that a marker pen gets over that problem.colin

Yep, there is no problem with liteon and clone cd for psx games :)
