booker May 23, 2002, 11:48 PM I tried all software who is capable of BIN/CUE Burn and the result is the same.
I burn the BIN/CUE image and everything goes ok, but after the burn is complete, i look the CD and it shows me a Blank CD?...like if i were testing it instead of writeing it.
The wierd things it it worked before but seems, not sure when it start to do this. The CD and the CD recorder works fine coz i can record on WINXP explorer or with the easy creator, but the BIN/CUE i can't.
Any ideas?
thanks
zack371 May 24, 2002, 12:29 AM Could be a corrupted image. I have downloaded them before that were.
Is it the same image that gives you trouble?? If so, it is probably the image. I am just thinking that since you can burn with EZCD and XP, then maybe it is a particular image. If you can not burn ANY image, then that i obviously different. I have never heard of not being able to burn ANY file of a particular format regardless of the program used. If that is the case though, please post more info..

celtic_druid May 24, 2002, 12:36 AM You can test the image by mounting it with daemon-tools. BlindWrite has the option to test an image before you burn it... but I guess you already tried that.
booker May 24, 2002, 01:32 AM no, the image works fine.....in fact i recently burn it succefully...but it was 1 of 5 attemp.
not normal....
i read some guy who had this problem...but the forum was closed and i never hear the answer...
booker May 24, 2002, 01:41 AM this is the post on other forum, but i follow the link and nothing about this...
Using CDRwin i burnt a BIN/CUE file.
: But Windows sees the finished disk as BLANK CD.
: The only thing i did was edit the cue file to make cdrwin find the bin file.
: and cdrwin said the burnt was successful.
: I hope any of u have any suggestions
: I use a Plextor 8x scsi burner
I think I found out what might be happening to us!! read this link http://mega-mod.com/warning.htm
I have had the same problem with burning Quake3 and Wink2 SRV. I got my code from a CORE keygen program.
suzuki May 24, 2002, 07:02 AM Your CDRWIN code is right? I know if you put a bad code to unblock it, CDRWIN tells you it works perfectly but your backups never work. Check it.
booker May 24, 2002, 03:59 PM Suzuki, lo probe con varios Programas y es igual :(
darkan9el Jul 06, 2002, 08:29 PM try Nero to burn a bin file, you load the cue sheet ( Start nero go to file > burn Image and select the cue sheet.
Winxp seems to be a bit touchy when it comes to aspi layers etc I had CDRWin Paid for edition but when I upgraded to WinXP pro I couldn't get CDRWin to work, so I now use nero or clonecd

I tried all software who is capable of BIN/CUE Burn and the result is the same.
Using a blacklisted code on CDRWin would not cause other programs to do this. However it is a very old and common problem with CDRWin.
Personally I find that CD Mate burns BIN/CUE files better than Nero. But once again, I guess you already tried both of them.
