Hey guys, I upgraded to Win XP a couple of months back, with no issues at all. I use Virtual Dub to capture with my Pinnacle PCTV Rave. I have no problems capping in 352x288 (I'm PAL, by the way). But whenever I select to rip in anything higher, such as SVCD, it throws up an error which goes like this 'Error 418: Unsupported Video Format', I'm not sure why it says that, it used to be fine in Win 98 SE. I know a few of you may say "why did you upgrade to that pile of crap" or whatever :) But I was sick of Win 98 SE. So if anyone can help me out on this issue or advise me of anything I'd be grateful, thanks.

try windows update, http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and downloading any updates from the spftware developers site (should say site on box or in manuals) and see what happens.

thanks for the quick reply, I have got the Win XP drivers installed for the card, and they seem to work fine so far, except for ripping in SVCD or higher. I'll check the MS site for updates and whatever, thanks for the help.
