I am using buffer underrun protection but it said that it protected the copy 60 times during burning. But only if I use one drive the other is fine I dont understand why here are my specs. 24x plex writer, ata133 80 gig hd(not partitioned-maxtor), Only 10 % used, win xp pro, nero burner, xp1800+. Also something I found interesting when I do the speed test in nero that drive says error while the other drive on my computer(a smaller ibm 60gig that is almost ful(90%-not partitioned) gets a 39,444KBS. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas thanks in advance. And I just defraged it last night.

Update to above. It is now doing it with either drive. I dont understand it has never done this before, I tried rebooting the pc but it did the same thing any ideas?

Check that DMA is enabled for all drives.
