The copty of the software I use was bundled with the drive and it always recognized my CDRW drive, but suddenly it stopped recognizing it and gives me a "No supported CDRW drives found" message ...

Have you installed any new burnware recently??

I would try your ASPI layer first. It could have gotten hosed.

You can get it here (http://www.cyrus.troy.btinternet.co.uk/downloads.htm) Download ForceASPI and run it.

Try that and post how it goes.
