i am looking for several different programs that can rip good images of cds to a HDD like into an ISO file or something like that. also, i am looking for a program that would let me make a virtual drive on my computer so that i dont need the copies of the games and stuff i have...i am running win2k pro

Daemon-tools to mount the images and then Clone CD to create them, although daemon-tools supports most image formats and is free.

yeah... give daemon tools a try. It was the only way I could get gta3 working on my computer! LOL! Really, though, its a great program, and best of all, as mentioned by celtic_druid, its free!!

thanks for the suggestions......btw...main reason im getting this besides to just backup frequent cds in general is to play GTA 3 better...i legally bought and paid my $53.99 for it at Compusa, and rather keep the thing stored on my HDD instead of waiting for it to load a radio station from the CD in gameplay
