Ps2Networks May 27, 2002, 01:33 AM Are there any Instructions on the net on how to remove the eject/rest ribbon cable, and where could I get one really cheap? Thanks Ps2Networks May 27, 2002, 03:14 AM Does liksang.com have good shipping rates??? how long does it take to recieve the product usually? thanks bobafett May 27, 2002, 07:42 AM The eject power buttons are clipped into place on the lid of the ps2 - if you look at the back of the eject/power plastic holder you will see that there is a little hole with a raised nib of plastic through it - you have to prise the plastic holder up off the nib and then pull it diagonally upwards and backwards to pull it out of the holses in the front of the lid. Be careful not to damages the cable as it is really flimsy - you can remove the cable from the side of the power button ( you will see it is just pushed in to a holder - it has a blue tip ) and the other side of the cable is pushed into a holder on the circuit board - if you remove it from the circuit baord it is a bugger to get it back in - you normally have to strip the ps2 down a bit to push it back in. A few stores sell replacement ribbon cables for a tenner if your's gets damaged. Lik sang are pretty cheap and shipping costs aren't too bad but you normally have to wait 7 - 10 days for your stuff Ps2Networks May 27, 2002, 09:36 AM What is a tener....
