iam getting a ps2 in the next couple of weeks.So I suppose it will be a version 5 or 6.Iam getting a neo 2 modchip with ar2.Will I be able to perform the same disk swap option on both versions??Ive heard that certain versions are only compatable with certain mod chips, Will I be ok??

Yes you will as long as your installer follows the correct diagrams for those version consoles... Only say this because new diagrams came out for the V5 allowing you to do the DVD-r swap trick, he'll need a few extra bits to complete this install ( resistors... )

As stated on the china messiah site the only difference between the so called v6 and v5 is the connector which the no solder mod uses is upside down.
