How Do you copy AVI-files to a DVDR??

I have some Movies that I download and want to Burn on to DVDR

Well this took me a while to work out, but it aint tooo hard.

1. Use TMPGENC to convert the avi file to a DVD compliant mpeg2 video file. Use the wizard and select NTSC or PAL dvd.
2. Use TMPGENC to convert the avi file to a DVD compliant audio file, YOU MAY ABLE TO DO THIS IN ONE STEP BUT this is what I did.
3. Then authored using spruce up
4. Burned using prassi primodvd.

As the AVI files I had were around 700mb I actually put two of these onto one DVDr. Just import all the video and audio files into spruce and have to menu options one for each movie. Basically I used the guide at DVD2DVDR for how to do the authoring.
