I can only get my sony blue and yellow box 650 mb 4 speed disk to work
My unbranded and pioneer 4 speed disks are not recognised
I know hi speed media doesn't work but these are all 2 -4

I want to put music on my xbox and cdrw are the only way!

Does this mean that everyone with a pioneer DVD writer a03 / 103 has never used a cdrw apart from me... oh well I'll ask again in another month or so

All the dc-rw's ive tried work, but i find the a03 to be a bad cd-rw burner...very unreliable when it comes to mpeg on the disc. The vcd will start skipping very badly about 30 mins in. Dont know if its the media im using or what.

could you please state which makes of media (cdrw) that you've used that work or are they all unbranded.

hmmmm... mine dont work either im using pacific digital brand...and also did anybody out there tries to use clonecd with thier pioneer a03? cause mine a03 says it's not compatible

I don't see the A03 listed on the Clone CD hardware page, however I am pretty dam sure it used to be, although it didn't support many features, so there was no real point in using Clone... mayaswell just use Nero or whatever.

In fact if you read the A03 review at CDRinfo, they tested the A03's Clone CD performance, so it must be/ have been supported.

What version are you running??

i tried clonecd v4+ to backup games but i guess i will stick with nero for now
