Hi all, I tried out the bitset download (from http://www.dvdplusrw.org/resources/bitsettings.html) on my pioneer and it didnt recognise the drive (unsurprisingly), but the errors I get on my Home DVD player seemed to fit in with the article on Bitset.. I noticed that the biset seems to change the way in which the writer writes dvdr's from mode 1 to mode 2 (seen as default when doing vcd and svcd's in Nero). Nero let you select modes in CDRW mode but not in DVD mode (its greyed out to mode 1). So - the reason my home player reads raw mpg files (Dansai 852) from a CDRW is because it has a leadin that is recognised but the dvd leadin (mode 1) isnt therefore the dvd player says it has a "disc error". Anyone got any ideas where I can d/l a bitset for the pioneer? www.dvdforum.com is useless as it is a company for pro developers and you must pay to join it - theres no Q&A forum.. I'd be most grateful if someone could please email me any ideas asap on rabbott1@btopenworld.com I also tried Prassi Primo to create a DVDRW with raw mpg files, but got the same error..
