A while ago, I read about someone trying to remove the speed restriction on the Pioneer A03 firmware. Does anyone have any news? Has it been craked or are they still stumped?

You'd think it was be as easy a solution as what the dvd region locking software does. ie intercept the code that the drive asks the disk for and just resend the drive back a code from a known 2s brand of disk.
