Hi!
I have win98 and when I install my HCF pci modem it picks it up but I cannot install the driver (sv conaxant hcf modem).
I enstalled it on a system runing ME no probs.
It has a hcf bridge/ emulator which enstalled first on my ME but does not on Win98se.
Any help would be appriciated.

i also have an hcf pci modem (connexant) not sure about the sv bit though. i had a few probs installing also, i got it installed by installing the hcfmodem enumerator first then it installed the drivers ok. you could try this also by control panel/add new hardware/select from list/hcfmodem/have disk/ select the cd with the modem drivers on/install enumerator then hopefully it will also pick up the modem and install the proper drivers from the cd. worked for me :)
