I can't seem to get my burner to work. I am using Adaptec EZCD Creator 4.0 and I get the following message at the end of the process:
T0100: I/O error (03/73/03) - CD error - power calibration area error
T7728: TrackWriter warning - Operation continues
I have gone through the user guide on this forum but with no change to my outputs (coasters).
Any help woudl be appreciated.

I think Easy CD Creator 4 is too old and your CD-RW drive is new and the software can't recognize the drive. Try Easy 5.03 (the newest) and all will be good. The another suggestion is a different burning program (Nero especially).

Agreed. I also have the Samsung in question. I use E CD C 5 and it works great. Don't expect to get a good burn on some of those copy protected games though. I have yet to get it to work. Copy CD is much better for that.

I had a SM 304B Samsung burner and changed the firmware to BS05 ( Avaliable from Samsungs home page) to enable Subchannel reading with Clone. It also worked fine with Cdrwin and Nero and i used it to back up thousands of discs.I only changed the writer because i wanted a faster writer.
As for Easy Creator total junk and only useful for audio.
