hi dudes, is there anyway of gettin nero to read a copy protected dvd?

no burning program reads a protected dvd coz it's protected.

if they CAN copy protect why DONT they do it to all of them, that would knacker everyone!

Are we talking movies here?? If so then just use a ripper to rip it. There is no point reading a copy protected DVD, because you need an authoring drive to write it anyway.

ok...wot do u use to rip? does it then have to be burned as a vcd or dvd-r?

y isnt ps2 software protected?

Use something like Smart Ripper, DVD decryper, Vstrip, etc. to rip, you can then convert it to VCD, DivX, Xvideo, WMV or whatever you want. Or you could just burn it to a DVD-R... asuming that it will fit.
