Look below at my sig, you'll know what I have
And i'm watching dvd and it skips and then freezes my computer, there are no scratches and it's all clean (DVD's)
Sometimes the movies go black & white
Is there anything I can do
I'm using ATI DVD player & Power DVD

Does it just happen with one DVD or quite a few?
Try some different DVD playing software and see if there are any updates available from Windows Update.

I think there's a compatibility issue with ATI DVD Player and PowerDVD (or any other installed player). Try updating your video card drivers and stick with only one player.

I installed the newest driver from ATI & used their multimedia center along with their dvd player, so I'm confused now
It's not working, it freezes, and skips, it's wierd
Any other solution?

Have you enabled DMA to you DVD drive ? Mine used to freeze, and that solved my problem completely... don't know why windows doesn't enables it by default....
