Order my Xtender chip on the 24th (ie: a week ago) and its been in the preparing order stage since the 25th (ie: Thay aint shipped it yet)

Ive never ordered from Lik Sang, but Ive always heard good things about them..is this common or does anyone know about a delay or something.

None of the store have the xtender or the engimah in stock.

If you live in the US, then you really should reconsider when you're ordering from Lik-Sang I've heard a few stoeies about US Customs opening the packages and sending you nothing because it's "illegal materials" or something. Also we just had an Embargo on Hong Kong trading altogether, so they are very sketching of anything coming from there.

I have ordered many products from lik-sang, each had to do with backup in one way or another, I even ordered a nonswap modchip from them, I had no problems with them, and all my items have come through customs without a problem.

This was probably before the recent embargo (like 2 months ago).

Just my luck...but they havent even shipped it yet...so I guess I will have to keep my thumbs crossed :rolleyes:

I ordered a Neo4.1 from them about two weeks ago and received my order five days later. Prior to receiving the shipment, I received an e-mail informing me that the chip shipped. You should get yours soon.

I to ordered a dreamcast ripping cable, it came within a week, excellent service, considering it was all the way in hong Kong , ;)

I'm located in the US and ordered 2 PS2 chips the same time from Lik-Sang and had no prob!:tup:

Thanks guys...Im sure its just a delay with the chip...I emailed them ealier, Ill let you know if there is anything that any other potential buyers need to be concerned about

Mine was part of the first shipment from Lik-Sang. I received it on Tuesday (USA). Had no trouble on the importing issues.

I've heard the horror stories also, but the few things that I've gotten from them have never had any additional import fees or probs with customs.

I'd highly recommend them and consider them most reputable.

Ah ok then. Maybe it's not as bad as some people make it sound, I'm sure it's more of a random thing.

Generally we don't like lik-sang topics in the PS2 forum as we aren't a support board for them. I don't know if some of you noticed, but if you went to the manf site for the chips, you can wholesale
order them. As a matter or fact, you could even get one FREE, if you were the type of tester
they were looking for.

I ordered a modchip to Australia before.... took around 3 weeks to reach here.... May be i used the global priority that's why took so long
