I'm on AOL but always minimise the aol browser and use explorer however just lateley i've been having a problem whereby when i try using i.e. it keeps acting as if i'm not connected to the internet, its comes up with "this site maybe having difficulties blah blah blah" but when i use the aol browser it finds the sites fine.

Any ideas why this is happening? Its only a recent thing and i've not changed any settings etc:confused:

Have you got the latest version of IE? Does it do it to all sites or just some?

version 6 m8...it does it to every site i try.. It must be some setting or some interface between itself and aol browser but i can't figure it out, i've been through all the options to see if anythings chaged but cant find anything wrong... I wouldbn;t mind but the aol browser is absolute shite@#

Is IE set to automatically detect settings? Try e-mailing AOL and ask them.
