Looking to buy a new player, but want one with all the whistkes and bells. My old Wharfdale 750 is getting relegated to the bedroom, so I want one that can play my newly aquired collection of VCD's and SVCD's.

Which is the best? Nothing too expensive........don't wanna go nuts!!

Moving this to consumer's opinion.

I had a dansia 1010 good player until it stoped loading disc i took it back and there must have been at least 6-8 1010s behind the refund counter when i asked what was wrong with them i was told none of them were loading discs.
Major fault i dont know but these returns were from one days trading.
A lot of people have the 1010 and have no problems at all.
I wont be buying another i am getting the h+b dvd 5415 it plays anything you throw at it and looks very nice its a pionneer dv444 clone
But thats my 2p worth put in
