I'm having a serious CD-ROM problem. I have a Lite-on 52X CDROM, and the power went off, and I needed to get a CD out of the drive, so I used the paperclip method to remove the CD from the drive. I was being very gentle and slowly pulled the tray out after I unlocked the drive with the paper clip. Once I got hte CD out, I gently pushed the tray back in, and make sure it was in the whole way (it clicked when I pushed it in the whole way)....well, the next time I started the computer up, the CD ejected, and when I try to hit the eject button again, it'll go in most of the way, about 2/3s of the way, or maybe 3/4s of the way then it stops and then ejects fully again. I cannot get it to close and read the CD.
Please help me on this. My ICQ is 13572767, and I need help on this quickly, perferrably within a day, as I need access to that CDROM drive for an important project I'm doing.
Thanks!
