i was told i can just use my 56k modem.

also, is it possible to connect several computors to the same internet line connection, so to save money??

U cannot use a 56k on broadband, as it is 'broadband' u will need an adsl modem.

To connect several computer 2gether to use the net u will need an adsl router. Also have to check with the isp if routers are ok to use with them.

actually u don't NEED a router - you can enable internet sharing but that does require u to have the host pc turned on.

better to link the modem to ther router to the uplink of the hub to all the pcs

for cable broadband you need a cable modem but all services seem to give you a modem in the instalition charge
