I was just wondering how CD-RW games compare to DVD-R backups. I know that things are cut from them but are loading times affected? are they jutty? or do they play just like originals?
Thanks
Thanks

Thanks greenhead90 Jun 01, 2002, 02:54 PM they play well for me (same loading times as dvd-r) but might not for others, it varies alot so ur best bet is to try on ur own xbox and c how u get on! if u have the thompson dvd-rom in ur xbox (as i do) then sony cdrw should work well! IS IT ME OR AM I THE MAN Jun 01, 2002, 10:13 PM USE DVDR for best results jcwacky Jun 02, 2002, 07:39 AM Originally posted by IS IT ME OR AM I THE MAN USE DVDR for best results That was not my question! For games which I will not play alot of and do not want to pay £8 for I can just get them on CDRW which is cheaper. Are there any disadavatages of this in terms of quality? Mystical_2K Jun 02, 2002, 07:42 AM well i got a CDRW version of Dead or Alive 3 from the net and when i burnt it (to a TraxData CDRW) it skipped on the intro but the game playing was fine (loading times were a few seconds longer) handyguy Jun 02, 2002, 11:53 AM It depends on what kinda of cdrw, but as you can see, they indeed do work. Snoopy007 Jun 03, 2002, 04:12 AM also, when writing to cdrw, is it still mode 1/2048 for the setings? cheers |
