I was just wondering how CD-RW games compare to DVD-R backups. I know that things are cut from them but are loading times affected? are they jutty? or do they play just like originals?

Thanks

they play well for me (same loading times as dvd-r) but might not for others, it varies alot so ur best bet is to try on ur own xbox and c how u get on!

if u have the thompson dvd-rom in ur xbox (as i do) then sony cdrw should work well!

That was not my question!

For games which I will not play alot of and do not want to pay £8 for I can just get them on CDRW which is cheaper. Are there any disadavatages of this in terms of quality?

well i got a CDRW version of Dead or Alive 3 from the net and when i burnt it (to a TraxData CDRW) it skipped on the intro but the game playing was fine (loading times were a few seconds longer)

It depends on what kinda of cdrw, but as you can see, they indeed do work.

also, when writing to cdrw, is it still mode 1/2048 for the setings?
