(mods-couldnt find this posted in the other load of w11 posts,sorry if i missed it)

having made a .bin file using cdrwin of the japanese version of the game i then used ppf-o-matic3 to patch the .bin with the 100% english patch. A message appeared saying the .bin file size is incorrect.I continued and surpise...it didnt work.burned .bin using cdrwin too. I find this strange as i managed to patch the game to 60% english 1 week ago using the same jap version to make an image.

can anyone help,email me preferable

Man that is strange because it has worked for everyone else... Where did you get the D/L from? Is it a re-rip of the game? It should be just perfect. I've come across this problem before because it was a re-rip of a game rip and it was smaller than the patch (or visa versa)... Re-D/L the patch and make sure you get the PPF totally opened in winRAR (put it in a folder like I did) and go over it slow as to make sure your not putting the wrong file in the wrong area of the PPF program other than that you may have to go to another place to get a D/L of the game or just go over to BST and buy it there.......

are u using an unpatched version of we6 as the image?

i dont think u can patch the full patch over the 60% one

can you email me on what settings to you in cdrwin to make the image? i think i may have used idfferent setting thean the 1st time.or how to make an image using another prog?

Yeah... you can't patch over a patched game. You can however get a reverse patcher! I've used one and it will unpatch your ISO there so you can patch it with the new one..... there you go.......

1)Open CDR-Win
2) Click the Extract Disc/Tracks/Sectors (Middle button on the top row)
A new window will now appear. Here are the settings, shown in the picture here.
3) Extract Mode: Disc Image/Cuesheet
4) CD Reader: Select your reader
5) Image Filename: Select a directory and filename
Reading Options
6) RAW, CD+G, CD-TEXT, MCN / ISRC all unchecked
7) Error Recovery: Ignore
8) Jitter Control: Disable
9) Subcode Analysis: Auto
10) Data Speed: Select your speed
11) Audio Speed: Select your speed
12) Read retry count: Anything from 2-10
13) Subcode Threshold: 300
Click Save Settings if you wish
14) Click Start!
CDRWin will now save the image to your hard-drive.


2)Open PFF-o-matic 3 loccate the bin file and the patch and press apply

3)Burning with Nero: (or CDR-WIN or Fireburner)When opening Nero, close any wizards etc that may pop up.
1) Go 'File'.. 'Burn Image'. Locate your .bin file (youll have to change the little pop down thing at the bottom of the window to make all file types viewable.),
2) Double click the .bin file, and youll get an option window.
3) Select DATA MODE 2! The Sector size will then be grayed out (2352), and RAW will be selected.
4) Burn the CD, people say use 2x speed to be safe but i used 16x and mine works fine

If i uncheck the Raw mode.. when i try to do the patch.. it will say incorrect size... but if i check it.. the patch works fine...

(but still get coasters!!)
