Is it possible to use 3rd party news readers with AOL? If it is could you tell me how please? Thanks.

Unfortunately AOL doesn't support it since you need to use their software to get through their firewall from what I've learnt so you can't conect to the AOL news server with third party software. However, I think it's possible to use public news servers but I'm pretty sure you have to pay for a subscription.
