I think that computer fairs are the cheapest place to get them, i went to bowlers and got 100 whitetops for £13.

I thought that was a bargain, good quality media aswell

It's worth it to spend a little extra to get a better brand!! I learned the hard way because I'm finding myself having to replace all of my cheap disks a year after I burned them because they no longer work.

Keep an eye out on eBay. Sometimes you can get a deal on Brand Name CDR's and CDRW's there.
