Their is a switch that is avalable to buy to make a us gamecube play jap games and want to know if you could make a home made one.

or if their is anyway of play jap games on a us gamecube or any other hacks out their....

i'd hardly say it was hacked

the demo GC all had a switch on them that switched the region encoding to and from jap/usa. they of course removed the switch when building the retail ones, but the still left the motherboard the same. building a switch that joins two points on the motherboard changed the region coding of the machine.

yes this can be done as a home made kit, its just a switch

diagrams are available on the net ! do a search for them (maybe gamefreax.de has them)
