Does anyone know where I can find some freeby software that will allow me to connect Mpeg files back together? i.e. I have a number of Mpeg movies that are split into around 20 segments and I want to join them seamlessly up back into 1.

Thanks guys and girls.

Imovie will if you turn your mpeg files (using the pay version of quicktime) to convert them to dv files

You then take the dv files then put them in order in imovie then you can send that to toast to burn as a movie and that will be a mpeg1 file

You need imovie, Quicktime Pro version 4 or 5, and Toast 5 not free but it will work

(do a search limewire or aimster) seek and ye shall find

Rosetta is a (much cheaper) shareware program that can paste together movie files (or mp3s, etc.) seamlessly.

Many say ChunkJoiner does this, but for me that never ever worked, as the seams were horrible or the movie would only play to the end of the first segment. Rosetta was a relief!
