OK i've been wanting to put a dvd drive in my computer and i went and looked at some. I ran across a cdr/dvd combo drive made by LG electronics for about $109.00. It writes at 12X and i believe the dvd drive speed is 16X and the drive reads at 40X. I have no experience with this particular company and I was wondering if this would be a good buy for me. Could I please have some opinions about this drive. Thanks for your time

LG electronics? I personally don't recommend that brand i barely heard of it.......the cheaper it is, the more chances on damageing the lens mechanism...get plextor's combo

LG are a sound make! im not sure whether the drive is good but they make quality electronic products up their with the sonys and technics in my opinion
