X-Box or Gamecube....

hmm that is the question though I always back up my games as I am a clumsy oaf and they cost 50 quid each.

What are the chances for backing stuff up on these consoles?
I doubt gamecube due to its unique discs (unless they are more like mini discs then I have been told) what about xbox? How's it going with their I heard that it was easy due to being like a PC.
Or all their games on dvd....


Also how much do blank dvd's cost my friend says they are a rip off at 10 quid each

Gamecube uses Mini-DVD's. You can buy them from a computer store.

People say X-box is like a PC why?

It has a P3 733 Mhz Processor nad Gamecube has a 585 IBM

It has a Nvida Gpu card Gamecube has a ATI one

thats not why, I think ppl say that cause it has a Harddrive, and then, Playstation 2 has a 40gb hd that you can but and Gamecube has a 1gig(not big)

They'll both be cracked but no one knows when. That is of course just personal opinion, I have the utmost faith in other people's abilities to crack these systems.

In either case I guarantee people are working on both right now. Xbox is getting the most attention because it is very much like a PC.

Not going into anothe debate why people keep thinking xbox is a a pc...however, xbox is only a few months old..give it time...figure out how much time you were able to make PS2 backups and you'll have an approximate time

A local pirate who used the name 'Monkfish' had some copied ps2 games on offer not long after it came out.

Ps2 is another option though I hate sony as much as microsoft well kinda.....
Also ps3 is supposidly very near (it was rumored straight after ps2 was out)


A xbox is like a pc, LIKE a pc.
Not as it were originally due to be a PC just for games, I remember all my mates were dancing around as they lack the inteligance to even use a pc in any way and the thought of pc games on a console....

Ah well Halo looks cool.
Only thing is lack of Jap support at the moment...
