Why cant all movies be the quality of LOTR SVCD?:rolleyes:

it all depends on the what version of the films you get

LOTR vcd is a very good print,but the first print that came out had a few scenes missing, so it was not that good

J Park 3 vcd was even better print than LOTR :) :)

Because its not easy to get a hold of dvd screeners. Its not ike you can go out and do it yourself like Telesyncs and CAMS. Some groups were lucky enough to get a hold of them. Theres others like A.I , Training Day and The Wash.

But if your looking for the same or sometimes better quality then get a hold of some dvdripz svcds.

Also JP3 screener was not better looking than LOTR Screener. Mainly cause JP3 had subs and LOTR didnt.

Probably because not a lot of people want to download 4 CDs.

this lotr (4cd) is taken from the cinematic laserdisc.

hmm, well, let me add my input here....its oscar time, soooooooooooooo, the stduios release screener tapes/dvds and distrobute em to judges in the hope that they will win summit. This type of thing only happens at this time of year...after march time we wont have these anymore for another year :( this happens every year. BUT wat makes this year a little better is that some studios are releasing the screeners to the judges as dvds so they can watch the movie with full dolby 5.1 and crisp image qaulity so that they can appreciate the special effects (the only thing thats gona get lotr anything)

so there u go, there is no point in the studios releasin any early screeners at other times of the year, they arent gonna get anything out of it. this time of year though they think an oscar is worth the risk of piracy ;)
