Game Master Jun 08, 2002, 07:12 AM i have been looking for quite some time for the right time to buy a burner, and this seems 2 be the best. i picked one that i havent seen really any comments about and was wondering if anyone here had it. its a HP DVD100I... i know its not the pioneer everyone talks about, but the reviews ive read on cnet and so on seem decent. was just wondering how it would hold up with a ps2 and standard dvd players. all input is welcome. thanx
handyguy Jun 08, 2002, 12:01 PM Hp dvd100i is useless for backups.

Game Master Jun 08, 2002, 03:26 PM thanx for the heads up on that one handy guy.... quick question though... does that mean i should be looking for dvd-ram and not dvd+rw. i found a few more, anymore help before i make a dumb move. theres the Pioneer DVR-104, the LG Electronics DAD-8020B, and the Toshiba SD-W2002. if anybody else knows of a good site to look for a selection of burners, please tell me... thanx for all your input

The Pioneer 104 is the same as pioneer A04, But it is the OEM version, meaning no retail box etc...
